Teams of Our Lady is a Catholic lay organization founded in France in 1947 by Father Henri Caffarel. It aims to support Catholic couples united by the Sacrament of Marriage, providing them with a community to grow in their faith and enhance their marital relationship. The primary goal of Teams of Our Lady is to help couples discover the richness of their sacrament and live a married spirituality aligned with the Gospel. The movement promotes mutual support among couples, encouraging them to strive for holiness and to be witnesses of Christian marriage in society.
Teams of Our Lady is structured around small groups of couples, typically consisting of four to seven couples and a spiritual advisor. These teams meet monthly to share a meal, pray, and discuss topics related to married life and faith.
There are currently two teams in the Barrie area. If you are interested in finding out more about this apostolate, please speak with Fr. Ricardo and/or contact: Nancy and David Wilson: 322-9863; wilsonda36@gmail.com or Denise and Steve Jones: 322-8262; myhsgroups@gmail.com

Catholic Youth Voices - Registration September 11
Catholic Youth Voices will start their next year’s season soon. This choir is dedicated to teaching the joy of music while singing in a group towards a common goal. Rehearsals will be on Friday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:30 pm in the Chapel of St. Patrick’s Church (Phelpston). The first rehearsal and registration will be Friday, September 11th, 2026 at 3:30pm. The choir is open to youth aged 8 to 24 years of age. The ability to read music is an asset but not required, as you will learn how to read. The choir performs a minimum of two concerts per year (December and June), singing a variety of styles and types of music from the works of the masters to jazz and pop numbers.
A choir is made up of many different voices, we hope yours will be a part of it this year.
If you are interested, please contact Robert Heppelle at (705) 322-2954 or saxophonepops@rbacademy.ca.
